About the Painting:
It came to me during worship, like a vision breaking through the veil.
I was at the Youth Service with my daughters when I saw it—
the heavens, swelling with promise.
Rain was coming. Not the kind that soaks the ground,
but the kind that awakens dry souls.
Inspired by the song There is a Cloud, this painting carries the cry of a thirsty heart:
We receive Your rain. We receive Your love… Like a flood.
It’s a response to the One who never forgets a single seed.
Who breathes over the sorrow and brings forth life in due season.
“He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rains that water the earth.”
— Hosea 6:3
This is the rain of the Spirit.
It falls when we lift our eyes.
It comes when we offer our hearts.
It floods when we believe in every word He has spoken.
Let it come.
Let it be done.
We receive it all.
