About the Painting:
“Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young— even Your altars, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.” — Psalm 84:3
This painting speaks of arrival.
Of belonging.
Of finding rest not in a place,
but in a Presence.
Like the swallow in flight,
searching for a shelter,
we move through seasons and skies,
longing for a home that holds more than walls.
And then we find it —
not built by hands,
but formed in grace.
A place where the soul exhales,
and the heart knows: I am not a visitor here.
It is near His altar,
bathed in light and guarded in peace,
that we remember who we are
and where we belong.
Blessed are those who dwell in His house.
Even for a moment —
it is more than enough.
